A Proper Introduction
I am American artist Jenny Floravita. I’ve been capturing the beauty of the Hawaiian Islands in oil and watercolor paintings for more than twenty years. I am in essence, a working artist. And I am pleased to offer my art as beautifully unique island style home decor, gifts and accessories.
A side note…but very related, I’m also well known for my reverse painted glass chandeliers. You could say that creating reverse painted chandeliers is my ‘day job’ here in the studio. I fabricate my lighting fixtures and glass bowls…though the true art is my painting within the glass. My chandeliers often are tropical…but not always. And I ship to clients all over the USA and beyond. I work with interior designers. I also am very good at creating custom chandeliers—which is a big part of my business. To be able to offer free shipping has been very important to me. Everyone simply wants to know what the price is when they view something.
I have carefully chosen different companies to work with to print my fine art on unique, thoughtful and useful items. This is a dream that I’ve had since I was a young, ambitions college art student…oh so many years ago.
All of the artwork here is either from my original paintings or from my design genius. Did I mention that I was a graphic designer in my first life right out of college?

I have gone the extra mile to search out what I want to offer to you with my art…what I think you’d like. I am creating a full island style experience that has color and beauty. One that is very unique and colorful. I want to bring the essence of the Hawaiian Islands to your home and life, no matter where you life.
I fell in love with the Hawaiian islands…a long time ago…as I’m sure you did as well.
The best part of this is that the technology that we now have allows me to offer my beautiful work to you in so many amazing ways!
…(and not to date myself) but my first business card as a graphic designer was greyscale…and I splurged on a spot color of metallic gold—and those cards were a few hundred dollars!!!
Digital printing was brand new…and expensive.
And those times were exciting because they were the beginning of a new era of modern printing techniques that would change the world of retail (and fine art)…and I was a part of that! I remember going through the process of creating some of the first fine art giclees on the market (no joke). I was there…and part of it all..and though it was all revolutionary for artists, it was still expensive.
Today, the printing is awesome in quality!!! For the price of a poster, I can offer giclee quality that is superior today (and I won’t bore you with what ‘giclee’ truly means yet…) but to me, this entire concept is simply awesome.
To wrap up, I want to offer a true experience of being able to put color and tropical flare into your home and life. I want to offer you a beautiful expression of the Hawaiian Islands that you can live with. My art is no longer for only those who can afford my originals…and That, truly makes me happy.
